Aldovea Open Chess Tournament

On Tuesday the Runnymede Junior School Chess club and some children from Year 7 represented the school in the Aldovea Open Chess Tournament.

On January 16th, the P.E. Department took a very excited group of Year 7 pupils to the mountains.

First Meeting of Junior School Students’ Council

There was great excitement in the Junior School a couple of weeks ago as the children learnt about the democratic process as they voted in a secret ballot to vote for class representatives for the first Junior School Student’s Council.

Judo success continues for Team Runnymede this month

On Sunday 21st January, Team Runnymede took their Judo team to the Juegos Municipales de Alcobendas, where our students took a range of bronze and silver medals. Well done to all those who took part.

Team Runnymede Rugby

On the 20th January, our rugby team braved the cold to take part in the Winter Soto Rugby Tournament, organised by the Soto de Real Rugby Club. As our pupils joined a hundred other children, playing good rugby and having fun became the focus, with the competition taking clear second place.

Looking back at our Christmas Celebrations

As we welcome in 2018 and brace ourselves for the term ahead, we would like to take the opportunity to look back at the end of the 2017.

University offers to date

This morning one of our pupils received an offer of a place at Cambridge; eight received offers of places at Oxford. That is 11.5% of the graduating class are holding offers from Oxbridge.
