Year 3´s Sponsored Spell. Monday 17th May 2010
Year 3 have been doing a sponsored spell to help Fundación Balia. A Sponsored Spell is like the Sponsored Run that you do with spellings. Year 3 had to learn 98 words for the spelling test. These 98 words were all countries and capitals. For example, if you were going to learn all of the groups of spellings and you wanted your mum and dad to sponsor you per word, if they sponsored you 10 cents per word, if you got 10 words right, they would have to give you 1 euro. We all had a week and two days to practise the words. At last we had the test and we were all happy with our scores!
