Year 4 Swap Shop. We all tried to gain money for Fundación Balia. What we needed to do in Year 4 was to bring something to school that was in good conditions so that we could sell it to raise money for our school's charity. Then a person would buy a toy/book with a small donation. The money that you paid for the toy/book did not go to the person who brought it in. Instead, it went to Fundacin Balia. We did not know who would go first so we wrote our names on different papers, folded them and put them in a box. The teacher would put her hand in the box and pick out a paper. The person who had their name written on it would be the first one to chose the toy. The first one to chose was Ignacio. He chose the biggest and best toy called Brain 'O' Matic. I chose a book called Where's Wally. In total we raised €212. On behalf of our class, I would like to thank our parents for helping us raise this amount.
