Quiz & Curry Night

Runnymede staff proved their intellectual might on Friday night, putting parents to shame with their victory at the Quiz and Curry Night. The "Educators", as the winners dubbed themselves, taught parents a thing or two about the importance of being earnest! All we mere mortals could do to take the edge off our humiliation was partake of the blissfully free-flowing wine and beer and enjoy the curries. Nigel Bennet was superlative in conducting the Quiz, although the questions, made in conjunction with Alicia Baker, were fiendishly difficult! Many thanks to Ann Diaz, Mercedes Rossell and Mari Carmen Fernández for their curries and to all parents for coming and exposing themselves to shame at the hands of Luis de Avendaño and Co. €277 were collected in tips for the Pablo Horstmann Foundation.
