Anti Bullying Week in the Junior School

Anti Bullying Week in the Junior School got off to a fantastic start yesterday with most of the children and teachers showing their support by wearing odd socks to coincide with ‘Odd Socks Day’ in the UK.

There are to be assemblies and activities in class on the theme of ‘Choosing Respect’ and a collective reading of the award winning best seller about happiness ‘Have You Filled a Bucket Today?’ by Carol McCloud. This story tells us that everyone has an invisible bucket which is filled with good thoughts and feelings; this bucket can be filled with happiness but also dipped into by the thoughtlessness of others.

The Junior School will have fun this week whilst learning to become better bucket fillers!
